JJ is one of just four freshman in the NACC that was recognized as an all conference member.  Last year MSOE went to the D3 NCAA National tournament for just the second time in school history with JJ starting a majority of the season's games. He is a two way player, playing shortstop and pitching.    Growing up he played for Illinois Lightning and Lakes Community High School in Lake Villa, IL. In the summer of 2026 he will be playing for the newly formed  Richmond Flying Mummies team in the Northwoods League.
